<p>As someone who can relate to <a href="https://aljoscha-meyer.de/assets/treasures/archive/lockharts_lament.pdf">Lockharts Lament</a> and in the pursuit of beautiful solutions, Aljoscha found an idea which could be <a href="https://inria.hal.science/hal-02303490/document">improved on</a>, and in turn presented the solution of <a href="https://aljoscha-meyer.de/assets/landing/rbsr.pdf">Range Based Set Reconciliation</a>,  although he prefers a <a href="https://github.com/AljoschaMeyer/set-reconciliation">less formal description</a> than the published paper.</p>
<p>As one of the two main developers of <a href="https://willowprotocol.org/">Willow</a>, Aljoscha, together with Sammy, keeps a <a href="https://worm-blossom.org/">dev-diary</a> filled with music and illustrations.</p>
<p>Willow is created by Sammy and Aljoscha and stems from <a href="https://earthstar-project.org/">Earthstar</a> which in turn comes from <a href="https://scuttlebutt.nz/">Scuttlebutt</a> as the late Cinnamon’s re-imagining of Dominic Tarr’s idea 🐌🌱✨</p>
